Stay sharp and be attentive to the prepaid card’s validity

Mobile prepaid card services are widely used by the populace, and prepaid card phone numbers being tied to online service platforms, such as mobile banking, are commonplace. Prepaid cards have a validity period determined by the card’s type, such as 30 or 180 days. During the prepaid card’s validity period, users may deduct from the account’s balance to purchase various types of services, for example data packages or pay-as-you-go. However, one common prepaid card service condition is that the user may not peruse telecommunications services with the prepaid card once its validity expires, and any balance and remaining usage shall not be refunded. Furthermore, since the expired prepaid card cannot be used for communications, a common consequence is that the user cannot access/use the online service platforms the prepaid card phone number is tied to.

If prepaid card users do not want to encounter this situation, just keep in mind the validity period of the prepaid card, and reload the prepaid card before it expires in order to extend the card’s validity and continue to use telecommunication services. Please inquire the mobile operators on the different prepaid card validity periods and reload methods.
