The delegation of CTT of Macao Special Administrative Region, led by Ms. Lau Wai Meng, Director of CTT, heading over to Hong Kong to have a bilateral meeting with OFCA of Hong Kong on 17 January 2024, was received by Mr. Chaucer Leung, Director-General of Communications. During the meeting, the representatives from both parties shared respectively the updated information of telecommunications markets and 5G development in both regions, and also had sharings and discussions on the issues such as radio-frequency radiation safety of mobile base stations, cybersecurity and the development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. This meeting stimulated the communications and interactions between the regulatory bodies of both regions.
