Since 2016, CTT has been conducting the mobile data speed tests in major areas, ports and large shopping malls in Macau every quarter. In case of any anomaly or deviation found in the test results from the actual network performance announced by the mobile operators, CTT will urge the relevant operators to make improvements.
The following are the test results of the past four quarters:
Remarks:
- The performance indicators of the service of mobile operators are for reference only. Their purpose is only to provide the average service quality levels of the concerned operators for the public. The relevant data will be updated and published quarterly.
- CTT will timely update the measurement locations and the measurement equipment according to the actual situation.
- The recommended target values of the data speeds: 4G download speed >= 15Mbps; 4G upload speed >= 7Mbps; WCDMA download speed >= 3Mbps; WCDMA upload speed >= 1.5Mbps; CDMA2000 download speed >= 1Mbps; CDMA2000 upload speed >= 0.5Mbps.
